A Framework to Foster Diversity at Penn State: 2004-09
Penn State is in its second cycle of diversity strategic planning as outlined in A Framework to Foster Diversity at Penn State: 2004-09. In order to assist colleges and academic support units in developing and implementing effective initiatives that address the Seven Challenges identified in the Framework, the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity is hosting two workshops in 2005-06 on “best practices” in diversity strategic planning.

The workshops will feature several Penn State faculty and staff who have extensive experience in conducting successful diversity programs, diversity strategic planning, and research on diversity topics. Ample opportunity will be provided to discuss specific strategies with presenters and other workshop participants.
