Best Practices in Diversity Strategic Planning Workshops
The Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity will continue the series of workshops it initiated in fall 2005 titled, “Best Practices in Diversity Strategic Planning.” Workshops will be held in both spring and fall 2008. The 2008 spring workshop will focus on assessment and measuring the impact of unit programs and activities on diversity goals. The workshop is for Penn State administrators, faculty, and staff who are centrally involved in their unit’s diversity strategic planning efforts and is by invitation of the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity or Penn State chancellors, deans, or heads of academic support units.

The purpose of the workshops was to help faculty and staff involved in their unit's diversity strategic planning efforts identify programs, strategies, and methods that contribute to effectively developing and implementing diversity strategic plans. The links below lead to a description of the workshops along with follow-up materials, including notes on the workshop sessions and Power Point presentations.
