- 8-Point Policy Agenda Toward a More Diverse STEM Workforce: The U.S. House of Representatives Diversity and Innovation Caucus (D&I) released a set of eight policy recommendations to increase participation of under-represented groups in STEM fields.
- Bridges: an English language online magazine featuring a wide range of articles relating to science, technology and education policy in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Subscription is free, simply send an email with “subscribe” in the subject line to bridges@ostina.org.
- Center for Science and the Schools: CSATS at Penn State helps support and sustain collaborations between scientists and K-12 education – includes links to other resources.
- Center for Nanoscale Science (MRSEC) The Center for Nanoscale Science provide opportunities for students, teachers and anyone with an interest in science including museum shows, summer camps, and educator resources.
- GREATT: Graduate Research and Education in Advanced Transportation Technologies resource for students, teachers, and Penn State graduate students.
- The Northwest Pennsylvania (NWPA) Region STEM Network’s Wiki page: The NWPA STEM Network is one of five networks in the Commonwealth working to create regional STEM Strategies for its stakeholders. Individuals in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties will collaborate and share programs that will expand options for students to acquire STEM literacy to prepare them for high-demand, high-skill, high-wage careers.
- PA STEM Initiative: The PA STEM Initiative develops and deploys statewide strategies and resources designed to enhance the Commonwealth’s education and workforce development efforts targeted at the development of a globally competitive STEM workforce.
- Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium (PSGC): The PSGC is part of a national network of 52 state-wide Consortia. The Space Grant mission is to expand opportunities for Americans to learn about and participate in NASA's aeronautics and space programs by supporting and enhancing science and engineering education, research, and outreach programs.
- Science and Engineering Indicators (SEI): A volume of record comprising the major high quality quantitative data on the U.S. and international science and engineering enterprise.
- STEM Database: Providing 50-state information on 10 indicators related to quality of and access to high school-level STEM programs. The database also offers information on state programs targeted at STEM achievement among female, low-income, and minority students.
- Tapping America’s Potential Coalition: Coalitions’ goal is to double number of STEM graduates by 2015.
- Teaching Technicians: This website links technician educators with National Science Foundation supported, state-of-the-art, faculty development in advanced & emerging technologies, teaching methods, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
