Recognition Awards
The Women in the Sciences and Engineering (WISE) Recognition Awards recognize Penn State personnel, full or part-time, male or female, who have voluntarily, over a period of time, excelled in helping women and girls recognize and achieve their potential in the sciences and engineering.
Eligibility: Any Penn State employee, administrator, faculty, technical-service, staff member (full or part-time, male or female) who has an outstanding record for their commitment to the goals of the WISE Institute to recruit and retain women, as well as mentor women, in the sciences and engineering, is eligible for nomination. This includes advising, encouraging, or facilitating the realization of women and girls’ potential as scientists and engineers. Nominations should be specific, and the supporting materials must address the criteria for the award.
