Protégés & Mentors Wanted!
What is MentorNet?
The WISE Institute houses Penn State’s membership to MentorNet. The MentorNet E-Mentoring Program is designed to provide information, encouragement, and support to students, post-docs and early-career faculty over an 8-month period.
Protégés are matched in one-on-one e-mentoring relationships with faculty members or professionals depending on your preferences.
Mentors are faculty members or professionals in the STEM fields willing to mentor, via email, a community college, undergraduate, graduate student, postdoc, or untenured faculty member (preferences may be stated in your profile).
MentorNet provides the training, coaching and support for protégés and mentors to pursue an 8-month e-mentoring relationship.
