College Education Information

Students will be provided with information on:

  • College admission procedures and course requirements;
  • College life and activities;
  • Available opportunities at different community, technical, private, and state institutions;
  • How to select college and training programs;
  • Assistance in completing applications and forms;
  • Fee waivers (as eligible) for college entrance tests and applications.

  • PHEAA - (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) Since 1964, PHEAA has devoted its energy, resources and imagination to creating affordable access to higher education for students and their families.
  • College Board - The College Board is a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity.

Program staff will assist students in:

  • Setting career and life goals;
  • Locating information on specific careers;
  • Career-interest testing and follow-up;
  • Discovering career options.

Financial Aid Planning

Staff presentations will cover information on:

  • Private and government monies available, including grants, loans, scholarships, and financial aid workshops;
  • Assistance in completing financial aid applications.
