SSSP Participants Are

Penn State students who meet at least one of the following federal requirements:

• First-generation college students (which means that the parent/guardian has not earned a four-year college degree at the time of enrollment)
  
  
• Students whose family income falls within the limits set by the U.S. Department of Education and verified by Penn State
  
  
• College students with documented disabilities
