Our Peer Assistant Leadership Team (PALT) is an integral part of the Student Support Services Program staff. PALT is comprised of SSSP program participants who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors. After undergoing a rigorous nontraditional selection process these students take on the responsibility of not only reception duties, but also program design, facilitation, and recruitment.

The SSSP offers program participants a job opportunity while in school to support their living and educational expenses that will enhance their leadership, teamwork, intercultural communications, and programming skills. Our diverse team of students works closely with the SSSP staff to ensure our program mission and objectives are met, if not exceeded.

We are confident that when our PALT members graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, they will not only have the academic skills necessary to succeed in their field of work, but the practical skills required to function effectively as a team member, individual, and interculturalist.
