| Lisa Diehl, Educational Counselor With over 10 years experience serving economically disadvantaged individuals, Lisa is excited to return to Penn State as Educational Counselor at the Educational Opportunity Centers of SWPA. Since receiving her undergraduate degree from Penn State, Lisa- a first-generation student herself- has served first-generation, low income individuals of all ages in various capacities including teaching, tutoring, and counseling. As a non-traditional student, she later earned a Masters in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania while working full time. |

With a sense of humor and friendly nature, she hopes to assist EOC participants with achieving their dreams of attaining postsecondary education. In her spare time, Lisa fishes for bass at any opportunity and competes in B.A.S.S. tournaments locally and nationally. She also plays bass guitar and sings backing vocals for the local alternative rock band Giganto.
