Adult Learner Enrollment Services
Helps adult learners who are thinking about beginning or returning to college or transferring from another institution or Penn State location.

American Indian Leadership Program
Provides support for American Indian students seeking graduate degrees from the College of Education.

Affirmative Action Office/Diversity Support and Education Ctr.
Responsible to support and monitor Penn State's Affirmative Action plan and provide diversity training for Penn State work units.

Bilingual Education Program
A program in the College of Education that provides options in bilingual and multicultural education for other majors in the college.

BOTH (Blends of Traditional Heritages)
A discussion group for students of biracial backgrounds, specifically those with one African American parent and the other parent of White, Asian, Hispanic, or other ethnic background. The group provides a supportive environment for students to exchange opinions, offer support, and learn from each group member's perspective of the biracial experience.

Center for Ethics and Religious Affairs
Provide and facilitate opportunities for the voluntary practice of religion so as to make evident the contribution of religion to the life of the mind.

Center for Women Students
Provides advocacy, information, educational programming, services, and referrals for women students.

College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)
Offers academic, personal, and financial support for first-year students from migrant and seasonal agricultural worker backgrounds.

College Multicultural Programs
College-based programs that provide support for students and staff of color within their respective colleges. All University Park based colleges have a college multicultural office. The links below lead to a list of college multicultural programs offices and those colleges that have Web pages for these offices.

Comprehensive Studies Program
Provides academic and personal support for Penn State students who qualify for Pennsylvania's Educational Opportunity Program - Act 101 services.

Commission for Adult Learners
Recommends changes in policies and procedures and fosters coordination and information sharing about programs and services that recruit and retain adult learners.

Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equity
Includes LGBT resources, links to support network and LGBT resource room.

Commission on Racial/Ethnic Diversity
An advisory body to the President of Penn State in matters relating to racial and ethnic diversity. CORED also serves as a resource for all University departments and individuals seeking to improve Penn State's climate for diversity. This site also has a diversity gateway that leads to many other diversity sites both inside and outside of Penn State.

Disability Services
Provides services to students with disabilities at University Park and acts in an advisory capacity to the Disability Contact Liaisons at other Penn State locations.

Educational Opportunity Center

Helps adults age 19 or older to begin or to continue a program of postsecondary education. Adults assisted by EOC programs across the country are low-income individuals whose parents did not graduate from college.

Equal Opportunity Planning Committee
Outlines process for obtaining Penn State funding for diversity initiatives through the Equal Opportunity Planning Committee.

FastStart (Faculty Alumni Student Triad)
A mentoring program designed to help first-year students from African American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian and Asian/Pacific Americans backgrounds, as well as those students who simply want to get their college careers off to a fast start.

Graduate Educational Equity
Coordinates the recruitment, retention, and professional development of underrepresented graduate students.

KEWL (Knowledge, Excellence, Wisdom & Learning)
"Cool" is a mentoring and leadership program for Asian American and Pacific Islander American undergraduate students at the University Park campus.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Student Resource Center
Provides a more hospitable environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons by establishing an identifiable network of persons who can provide support, information, and a safe haven to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender persons within the University.

McNair Scholars Program
Works with undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds in order to prepare them to pursue advanced studies in the disciplines of their choosing.

Multicultural Student Organizations 2005-06
A directory provided by the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity.

Multicultural Resource Calendar
Sponsored by OVPEE for use by the Penn State community. Please note that a valid Penn State Access account is required to view the calendar.

Multicultural Resource Center
This office provides undergraduate students of color at University Park with academic and personal support.

Paul Robeson Cultural Center
A forum for the cultural, educational, and social involvement of all students at Penn State, emphasizing the many forms of African American culture and how they intersect, overlap, and complement other cultures.

Pennypacker Experience
A residential program for students in the Bunton-Waller fellowship program and FISE (Freshmen in Science and Engineering) house.

Report Hate at Penn State
Provides Penn State students, faculty, staff, and alumni with a Web form for reporting acts of hate or intolerance that occur at Penn State. If you or someone you know is in an emergency situation that does or could require medical, psychological or police services, please call 911 or the Penn State Police at 814-863-1111. For information on Penn State offices that can assist you for non-emergency situations, please visit the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity Web Ombudsman.

Residence Life
Coordinates student life in the residence halls.

“S" Plan (support, survival, and success)
A program for African American and Latino students who are new to Penn State.

Student Affairs
Coordinates Penn State's co-curricular services for students.

Student Minority Advisory and Recruitment Team
Student organization designed to share success stories at Penn State and assist the university with the recruitment of ethnic minorities.

Student Support Services
Provides low income, first generation, or students with a physical or learning disability with a variety of services designed to enhance their academic skills, increase their retention and graduation rates, facilitate their entrance into graduate and professional schools, and foster a supportive institutional environment.

Talent Search
Helps eligible youth and adults to continue in and complete secondary education or its equivalent and to enroll in or reenter a college or training program.

University Health Services
Provides medical and other health-related services to students.

Upward Bound
Helps high school students gain the skills and desire to continue their education beyond high school. Students are eligible if the family's income is low to moderate. Penn State's Upward Bound Program serves students from selected schools in five counties--Clearfield, Centre, Dauphin, Huntingdon, and Mifflin.

Upward Bound Math and Science
Provides educational opportunities for low-income high school students who show interest in math and science.

Veterans Programs
A comprehensive, direct service unit for veterans and Department of Veterans Affairs benefits recipients.

Women in Engineering Program
Recruits women into engineering, facilitates the development of women engineers through advocacy and action, and promotes an equitable and productive learning and work environment within the College of Engineering.

Women in the Sciences & Engineering (WISE) Institute
Coordinates information, research, and activities for and about women in the sciences and engineering.

Zero Tolerance for Hate Penn State Support Network
Addresses issues of discrimination by providing support and resources to those who have experienced acts of intolerance. Membership available to all faculty, staff, students, and community members who meet the necessary requirements.
