How does one become a member of the commission?

Full Membership:
The Commission is comprised of University faculty, staff, students, and administrators. Each spring, the Commission publishes a call for nominations and applications in the faculty/staff and student newswires. Appointed (full) positions are filled only during this spring nomination/application period. The Commission’s Executive Leadership Team reviews the applications and nominations, and forwards a list of names to the President of the University, who approves and appoints the new full members. Full members serve four-year terms, and have voting privileges.
Affiliate Membership:
Affiliate members serve one-year terms. Applications for affiliate membership are accepted throughout the year.
