How does one become a member of the commission?

Each spring, invitations to apply for vacancies on the commission are published in the Daily Collegian and Newswire in addition to being posted on the commission's Web site. The Nominating Committee forwards selected names of nominees for each available position to the President of the University, who approves and appoints the new members. Full members of the commission serve four-year terms and in the case of students, until they graduate. Affiliate members are appointed to serve a one-year term.
