Who can be a member of the Commission?
The Commission is comprised of University faculty, staff, students, and administrators. Each spring, the Commission invites individuals to apply for membership through various listservs and the Newswires. A Nominating Committee reviews the applications and forwards a list of suggestions to the President of Penn State for appointment. Appointments to the Commission are for three-year terms.

Is there a way to be involved in the Commission's activities without actually being a full member?
Yes! You can use the link below to the Affiliate Membership Application to indicate that you are interested in becoming an affiliate member to CLGBTE.
Each committee and task force meets periodically throughout the semester and is comprised of both Commission members and affiliate members.
